
Welcome to Physical Science.
Wow! You are now high school students, and as such, more will be expected out of you.
Some tips to help you succeed. Get organized, do your homework, and study.
Your teachers are working very hard to help you succeed, but ultimately it is up to you.
Your parents and your friends cannot do the work for you.
Keep up with what is going on by paying close attention to our calender.
Classroom supplies:
1. $10 lab fee
2. 2- pocket folders with brads and paper
4. Single subject sprial notebook
3. Scientific Calculator - you may use the one supplied by your Algebra teacher.
Things to remember:
- You are responsible all classroom assignments.
- Work turned in late will recieve a 20% per day deduction from score.
- All work is due before the bell for class rings. Work turned in after bell will recieve a 20% deduction.
- Due to time constraints labs cannot be made up. If you miss a lab you will have one day to complete a two page report on the lab topic or you will recieve a zero.
- Computer labs can be made up during advisory period the day after it is missed.
Classroom procedure:
1. Turn in homework.
2. Place all backpacks and purses on floor by window. All you need at your table is a writting utensil, paper, and book. If any other supplies are need they will be listed on the board.
2. Fill out entrance slip. The entrance slip information will be listed on the board.
3. Participate and finish all classroom work.
4. Fill out exit slip. You will summarize what we learned or answer what questions that will be on the board.
